The Village of Bourbonnais is accepting applications for the part-time seasonal position of Park Ranger.
The individual will report to the Assistant Village Administrator or their designee. Duties include providing on-site patrols of the Community Campus and other parks, as directed, to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for patrons and to enforce, when necessary, rules, regulations and ordinances relating to the use of the area.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Must successfully complete a fingerprint background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
Previous park or general security experience preferred but not necessary. Wage: $15.00/hour.
Work is primarily outdoors in 4-hour shift segments, up to 16 hours per week. Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts available. Seasonal work begins in June and runs through September.
