The Bourbonnais Police Department will once again participate in the annual benefit for Special Olympics Illinois, but this time with a little 'kick'. From 4 - 11 p.m., officers will be helping the 'Roadies' serve guests throughout the evening. 100% of all donations will benefit Special Olympics Illinois.
The Village of Bourbonnais is proudly recognized as the summer home of the Chicago Bears Training Camp since 2001. Each summer, the Village transforms into ‘Bearbonnais’ in anticipation of the Chicago Bears and welcomes thousands of fans from across the United States.
Join Bourbonnais Police and local law enforcement for National Night Out at Perry Farm Park.
The local celebration is one of an estimated 16,000 that will be held throughout America. National Night Out, now in its 36th year, is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
ButterBurgers & Badges will feature Bourbonnais Police providing table service for guests dining inside, and also delivering the chain’s famed burgers and fresh frozen custard desserts to those visiting the drive-thru.
The officers will collect tips for their service, which, along with $1 for every purchase of any size Concrete Mixer, will benefit Special Olympics. In addition, local Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to meet and greet guests and sign autographs.
