Olivet Nazarene University, commonly referred to as ONU, offers associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs on a two-semester academic calendar, with summer offerings.

Olivet Nazarene University is a private, Christian, liberal arts university - a service of the Church of the Nazarene, theologically grounded in the Wesleyan tradition.

Olivet is centrally located in the historic Village of Bourbonnais, Illinois - just 50 minutes south of Chicago's Loop - with additional locations in Rolling Meadows and Oak Brook, Illinois; Indianapolis, Indiana; Grand Rapids and Grand Ledge, Michigan; Hong Kong; and more than 100 School of Graduate and Continuing Studies learning locations throughout the Chicagoland and the Midwest.

The beautiful, park-like campus includes 25 major buildings on 275 acres.

Founded in 1907 by a group of families who desired a distinctively Christian education for their children. For more Olivet history, click here.

Since 1907, Olivet Nazarene University has made this more than a motto, but a mission. At Olivet, considered one of the nation's premier Christian colleges, faith is at the heart of superior academics, athletics, social atmosphere and ministry opportunities.

Here, students not only learn how to make a living; they learn how to live. Since Olivet's founding, more than 20,000 degrees have been granted to graduating students. Whether their chosen fields are in medicine, business, education, ministry or a myriad of other professions, Olivetians make a difference in the world for Christ and His kingdom. At Olivet, ambitious dreams meet uncommon opportunity.
