The Village of Bourbonnais has contracted with Allied Waste, a Republic Services Company, to collect household garbage, recyclable materials and yard waste from all single-family residences within the Village. For your convenience, households will be provided one monthly bill from the Village of Bourbonnais inclusive of this service as well as the provided sewer service.
All household garbage is to be placed out for pick-up each week by 6:30 a.m. on your regular pick-up day or set out the night before. Household trash should be placed inside the toter(s) provided by Allied Waste, a Republic Services Company. If you are ever in need of a large dumpster or you feel you need a smaller toter, please contact Allied's Customer Service Department at 815-472-3332.

The Village of Bourbonnais is proud to be a recycling community. 96-gallon toters marked for recycling only are available for each home via Allied Waste, a Republic Services Company. The toters are on wheels and have lids, which further keep the Village clean by reducing animal, insect and litter problems. Recycling services are provided to residents every other week.

Yard waste service is provided from March 31st through November 30th on your regular garbage pick-up day. *THIS SERVICE IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED BY REPUBLIC SERVICES DUE TO COVID-19. WE WILL PROVIDE AN UPDATE ASAP. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!
PLEASE NOTE: Tree branches in excess of two inches in diameter will not be removed. Tree branches must be bundled in a maximum 2 feet in diameter and 4 feet in length and should weigh no more than 40 lbs. If you need brush pick-up, you can find more information on the Public Works page.
