Tree Planting

Police Chief Jim Phelps, Mayor Paul Schore, and five bradley-bourbonnais community high school students in park field where trees were plantedEmily and Andrew Phelps, children of Bourbonnais Police Chief Jim Phelps, received a $500 grant from the Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School Foundation and hauled in donations of cash, mulch and trees from businesses both near and far - from local to businesses as Tennessee and Michigan.

With the help of five BBCHS students and five parents, they planted 112 trees of various types at Bonaire Park, Granger Park, Meadowbrook Park, Meadows Park and Thirteen Acres Park.

Additionally, the Village of Bourbonnais Public Works Department planted 56 Arborvitae Trees at Riverfront Park.
