Bourbonnais, IL — The Village of Bourbonnais Building Department and Code Enforcement Division will soon be operating from a new location to better serve residents, contractors and businesses.
Effective Friday, February 27, 2026, the department will be closed to facilitate the move. Staff will reopen and resume public services on Monday, March 2, 2026, at their new location within the Village’s Public Works Maintenance Facility at 255 Mooney Drive.
With this transition, all public-facing services will now be conveniently located under one roof at the Village’s Mooney Drive site, enhancing efficiency and accessibility for the community.
New office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Contact information remains the same at the new location with exception of a new fax number.

Residents and contractors will continue to work with the same experienced staff members they know and trust. Only the department’s physical location and hours of operation are changing.
The Village of Bourbonnais Administration Office will remain open at 600 Main Street NW and continue serving as the office of the Mayor, Clerk, Trustees and departments including Administration, Communications, Community & Economic Development and Human Resources. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The village appreciates the community’s patience during the brief closure and looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality service in the newly consolidated space.
