Bourbonnais, IL – The ninth annual Chocolate Tour returns Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Bishop McNamara Bourbonnais 324 E. Marsile St. The community event is cohosted by the Village of Bourbonnais and Bourbonnais Township Park District, along with Title Sponsor, Sweet Street. 350 tickets went on sale to the public on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, and sold out online in approximately one minute.

350 ‘tourists’ will embark upon an afternoon adventure traveling to 36 business stops within the Village of Bourbonnais. Each will receive a tour map for their decadent journey, a passport to receive a stamp at each destination visited and a bag to tote along sweet treats. A completed passport may be entered to win the Chocolate Tour grand prize, courtesy of Andaul Jewelers in Bourbonnais, and the Chocolate Tour runner-up grand prize, courtesy of the Bourbonnais Friendship Festival.

20 raffle baskets will be available to win and do not require an event ticket to participate; the public is welcome. Raffle tickets may be purchased during the event from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the gymnasium where the raffle baskets will be on display. All winners will be announced beginning at 5:00 p.m. Winners do not need to be present. All will be broadcast on Facebook Live on the Village of Bourbonnais and Bourbonnais Township Park District’s pages. All winners will be notified.

Chocolate Tour continues its commitment to benefiting Bourbonnais with event proceeds supporting the community through various projects, programs and events. 2026 proceeds will support Village of Bourbonnais’ Safety Town enhancements at The Grove at Goselin Park and funding for a new exhibit at Bourbonnais Township Park District’s Exploration Station.

Proceeds from previous Chocolate Tour events have benefited The Rink at The Grove, new equipment for the Event and Skate Plaza, Children’s Safety Center facility improvements, the 1837 Log Schoolhouse restoration project, Robert Latham Community Room upgrades, village park updates and free events for the public. To date, Chocolate Tour has invested $110,000 back into Bourbonnais, over the past eight years.

“We are grateful to Bishop McNamara for their continued hospitality and for once again welcoming this event at their Bourbonnais site,” said Mayor Jeff Keast. “We also appreciate the community’s ongoing response to our support local event, which highlights the unique businesses that call Bourbonnais home.”

“We love this time of year and being part of this great community event,” added Bourbonnais Township Park District Executive Director, Mike O’Shea.
