Bourbonnais Kicks Off Summer with Free Fun at The Grove

The Village of Bourbonnais is excited to announce its 2025 summer events at The Grove at Goselin Park—located at 700 Main St. NW. From food trucks and live music to yoga and movies under the stars, there’s something for all ages to enjoy in June!

Splash the summer away with the splash pad now open at The Grove! Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. Guidelines are available at www.villageofbourbonnais.com/residents/rules.

Lunchtime Bites & Beats on Festival Street launches Wednesday, June 4, and runs every Wednesday through September from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Festival Street. Grab lunch from two rotating food trucks and enjoy live acoustic performances each week.

This week’s lineup includes Cousins Maine Lobster and MiaBella’s Pizza with music by Shelby Ryan.

Yoga in the Park returns every Saturday in June with Soul Moon Studio. Join us for a rejuvenating vinyasa flow at Cavalier de LaSalle Park beginning Saturday, June 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. All levels welcome. Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat, towel and water.

Unplug & Play debuts Sunday, June 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Grove. This new initiative invites families and neighbors of all ages to disconnect from screens and reconnect with each other through lawn games, outdoor activities and community fun.

Movie on the Green is back Thursday, June 12, featuring the highly anticipated Disney Pixar’s Inside Out 2. Food vendors—including MiaBella’s Pizza and Cakes & Goodies—will begin serving at 6:00 p.m. with the movie starting at 7:00 p.m. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a perfect evening under the stars!

Cool down with Cone with a Cop on Friday, June 13, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Dairy Queen (121 S. Main St.). Enjoy a free small cone and get to know the officers from the Bourbonnais Police Department. Donations are accepted and will benefit the Back-to-School Shop with a Cop program.
