Jeff Keast, a lifelong resident of Kankakee County, proudly serves as Mayor of Bourbonnais. Elected in 2025 after a decade of dedicated service as a Village Trustee, Mayor Keast brings a deep-rooted commitment to community development, economic growth and transparent leadership.
Jeff graduated from Herscher High School and studied business at Kankakee Community College (KCC). He and his wife, Jenny, are the proud parents of Brittney (Brian), T.J. and Hailey, and grandparents to Ava and Aiden. Jeff remains actively engaged in the community through ongoing event sponsorships and participation, embodying the values of leadership, service and connection.
As the third-generation owner of Keast Electric, Jeff is a proud union member and electrical contractor. He is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), where he serves on both the residential bargaining and safety committees, reflecting his commitment to quality, integrity and forward-thinking innovation.
Outside of his professional and civic responsibilities, Mayor Keast enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. These experiences continue to fuel his vision of a welcoming and vibrant future for the Village of Bourbonnais.
