Trustee Jack Littrell was elected to the Board of Trustees as a Republican candidate in 2015. Littrell, a four-time MVP in sports and in business, brings a diverse background to compliment the current board. He is a highly ranked financial representative with Farmers Insurance Group. He was also a former mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.
With nearly 30 years of coaching experience in track, cross country, basketball and baseball, Trustee Littrell values teamwork, discipline and mentorship. As a member of the Board, he is especially passionate about being accessible to residents and takes pride in responding to constituent calls and helping identify solutions to community concerns.
Trustee Littrell and his wife, Jill, have lived in Bourbonnais since 1995. Jill is a Reading Specialist in the Bradley Elementary School District. They have two sons, Matthew and Brandon, who are both married. Matthew graduated and played baseball for both Kankakee Community College in Illinois and Ashland University in Ohio. He was the 2017 MVP of the NJCAA World Series. Brandon is a graduate of Western Governors University. He and his wife, Madeline, are expecting their second child. Trustee Littrell and Jill are both proud grandparents.
