Allied Waste Services "Your Waste Hauling/Recycling Company"

The Village of Bourbonnais has contracted with Allied Waste effective April 1, 2010 to collect household garbage, recycling materials and yard waste from all single-family residences
within the Village. Households will be billed by the Village of Bourbonnais adding this amount to your monthly sewer bill that you already receive from us.

Delivery of the Bourbonnais residential trash and recycling toters were delivered to residents through Friday, May 14th.  The residents should have received literature regarding the program in addition to a calendar and map outlining the every-other-week recycling program.  If you haven't received your toters or would like to request for a smaller garbage or recycle container/toter, you can do this by contacting Allied 815-472-3332.

Household Garbage: All household garbage is to be placed out for pick-up each week by 6:30 a.m. on your regular pick-up day or set out the night before.  Household trash should be placed inside the toter(s) provided by Allied Waste of Momence delivery starting May 3rd.  If you are ever in need of a large dumpster for a special clean-up or construction job, please contact Allied's customer service department at 815-472-3332 or 708-385-8252 for special rates. If you feel you need a smaller toter, please contact Allied Waste to request for one.

Recycling: New 96-gallon recycle toters will be delivered to each home. The toters will be marked for recycling only. The toters are on wheels and have lids, which keep the town clean by reducing animal, insect and litter problems. Once toters are delivered, recycling service will be provided every other week verses weekly. Instructions and a schedule will follow.
