Discover history and tradition with a scenic bus tour of colorful Barn Quilts! This county-wide tour showcases our rural heritage with well preserved farm buildings adorned with a hand painted quilt block. During the tour, take photos of the Barn Quilts and stop at one of the barns for a refreshment break.
Come early on Saturday and shop the Kankakee Farmer's Market from 8:00 AM to Noon. There are several places to eat downtown, so you can enjoy a lunch before departing at 1:00 PM for the tour.
On Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM explore the Fall Art Stroll where you can see fine art, entertainment, and a 50-foot fall garden. There will also be gourmet sandwiches and homemade taffy apples. Come early and join the fun!

Tickets cost $25 per person with a limit of 30 people per bus tour. The tours are conducted by a guide familiar with the Barn Quilt project. Each tour will last approximately three hours and includes a refreshment break.
