hope the public will come out and give us a try." Schoop's is in the building formerly
occupied by Busse & Reick.Butch Hovarter and Don Grobner, who owns the area Boz's
franchises, also purchased the home behind the former flower shop and had it torn

Gallagher Asphalt

Gallagher Asphault opened in 2004. Gallagher's Bourbonnais plant will have four full-time workers, including three operating engineers and a ticket clerk. Also, an eight-man paving crew will be based in the county. About 10 semi-trucks will transport asphalt produced at the plant each day.

The company was created by a small group of Chicago hardware store owners who joined together to purchase merchandise in bulk to save money and buy at the lowest possible price. CIGNA HealthCare

The service center currently employs 900 workers and is among the area's largest private employers. Continuing a major hiring initiative that began last year with the completion of its new state-of-the-art service center in Bourbonnais, CIGNA HealthCare today said that it needs to hire an additional 120 employees for the facility before the end of the year.

The workers will process medical claims and handle customer service calls from CIGNA HealthCare members. The jobs are full-time and come with a competitive benefit package that includes medical and dental insurance, basic life insurance, retirement benefits and a tuition reimbursement program.
