Servin’ up a 2nd Scoop of Chocolate Tour!
You are invited to join the Village of Bourbonnais and the Bourbonnais Township Park District for another year of this hugely popular event! February 3, 2018 is set to be the Second Annual
“A Chocolate Tour” in our Village of Friendship.
Bourbonnais is once again the destination for residents and guests to explore our quaint village and fine businesses. We believe you will want to join in to host a “Stop” on the Tour ~ or ~ participate as an event sponsor.
The Tour will be structured as it was last year. Folks will visit a variety of businesses to experience chocolate treats and surprises; all while learning more about you and the products and services you provide. As one business owner put it; they have been “here for 18 years and I would estimate 75% of the participants of the Chocolate Tour was unaware we existed.” It is a win-win for businesses, residents, and guests alike!
Why tasty chocolate concoctions? Well, Valentine’s Day of course! This will be a great opportunity to welcome the Valentine’s Day Season while showcasing our business community which is oh, so special to the Village of Bourbonnais.
The goal for this event is to turn 35 local businesses into Chocolate Tour Stops to be visited by your current and potentially new customers between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. We encourage neighboring businesses to work together to create a stop.
Take this opportunity to publicize your goods and services by offering a chocolate or chocolate-themed item that complements your business as a giveaway. Prepackaged chocolate goodies will make everything run as smooth as a cup of hot chocolate!
Proceeds from this event will once again go toward additional amenities for the Bourbonnais Skate Park.
Please take a moment to look over the accompanying information and learn more about how to become a “Stop on the Tour” or support this event by being one of our limited sponsors. Deadline to register is December 15, 2017. Please email or call Sharon Richardson with any questions - email@example.com or 815-933-9905.
