New Zoning Ordinance
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Bourbonnais Planning Commission / Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at Bourbonnais Municipal Center Board Room, 700 Main Street N.W., Bourbonnais, Illinois 60914. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from the Bourbonnais Village Board to: 1) amend the Village of Bourbonnais Code of Ordinances to adopt a Zoning Code establishing regulations governing, among other things, the following: a) title; b) purpose, intent, interpretation, penalty, and application, c) definitions, d) nonconforming uses and structures, e) general provisions, f) accessory uses and structures, g) off-street parking and loading, h) signs, i) zoning district standards, and j) administration and enforcement; and 2) consider other relief as required. This notice is given pursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/1-1-1, et seq.). All interested parties will be given the right to be heard. Written comments can be submitted in advance of the public hearing at the Office of the Bourbonnais Village Clerk, 600 Main Street N.W. #1, Bourbonnais, Illinois 60914 during normal business hours.
