The
Village Board is comprised of the Mayor, Village Clerk, and six Trustees,
elected, at-large, to individual, four-year overlapping terms. The Village
Board meets on the first and third Mondays of each month, and other times
as necessary. Meeting times and dates are posted in the Village hall,
and all meetings are held in compliance with the Illinois Open Meetings
Act.
Mayor Latham has retired from Bunge Foods in Bradley, and now is working for Kankakee River Metropolitan Agency as a Maintenance Coordinator. He and Karen enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, and he is an avid football and basketball fan. Mayor Latham represents the Village
on a variety of Boards and Committees in the Kankakee County area, including
the Economic Development Council of Kankakee County, Area Jobs Development
Association, and the Metropolitan Planning Organization for area wide
transportation planning.
Trustee Residori is employed at Bunge Foods in Bradley, Illinois as a Material handler. He is active in auto racing, and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. Trustee Residori serves as Chair
of the Public Works committee, and as liaison to the Friendship Festival
Committee.
Trustee Amiano serves as Chair
of the Finance Committee, and Community and Economic Development Committee,
and is a member of the Bourbonnais Police Pension Board. Trustee Schore is employed at Aventis Behring in Bradley, Illinois. He is active in Boy Scouts and is avid sports and racing fan. Trustee Schore serves as Chair
of the Annexation, Zoning and Building Committee, the Utility Committee,
and the Franchise, License, and Administration Committee
Trustee Greenlee is the owner of a local company. He enjoys golf, and is a member of the Reed Institute, Grace Bible Church, and the West Point Military Academy Parents Club. Trustee Greenlee serves as Chair of
the Police Committee
Trustee Byrne serves as the Business Agent for Local #422 Plumbers and Pipefitters, and enjoys golfing and auto racing. Trustee Byrne serves as Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee.
Trustee Baranowski is the owner & operator of Wayba Productions LLC, an event/commercial photography business. He also teaches a photography class at Kankakee Community College. |
